Bonus: Joshua Becker Returns!

Joshua Becker on The Hope Effect This is a special bonus episode of the show, featuring a chat I recently had with Joshua Becker of Becoming Minimalist. Joshua, his wife Kim, and Joe Darago, have just launched The Hope Effect – a charity designed to revolutionise orphan care. To be honest, I had no real idea of the difficult and damaging environment many young orphaned children are brought up in, and once I heard Joshua’s reasons for and the plan behind The Hope Effect, I absolutely had to share it with you. Today we talk about the work of The Hope Effect, what made Joshua and his wife┬ádecide to start a charity (which is a story of great generosity in itself) and how you can get involved this holiday season. Take a listen, check out The Hope Effect and share this episode with your friends and family.

  1. I was so grateful for Joshua’s gifts of his words the past few years, the minute I read about The Hope Effect I knew I had to give something back. I happily signed up to the $10 club. I believe in him and his admirable mission to use his life for something more…. you and he continue to be an inspiration to me and I am so happy to see that this thing in the blogsphere can be for a global good.. the world is an amzing place right now!

  2. This is very inspiring to me – thank you for hosting this interview and starting a campaign, Brooke. Thank you to Joshua for starting this organization and helping leverage us minimalists for good!
