Join me at The Tortoise
For the past few months I’ve been making a cosy new home online, somewhere I could dig into the question of how to live slow in a fast-paced world. But rather than just a blog, or a podcast where the conversation mostly flows one way, I found myself craving community. Connection. A place to gather with like-minded people, all seeking something similar - a different lens through which to view the world.
It’s called The Tortoise, and it’s hands-down my favourite corner of the internet. It’s where I write weekly (often more) about life viewed through the broad lens of slowness. It’s also where I host quarterly online retreats on topics like values, rhythms and writing as self-care, and where you’ll find the show notes for our brand new podcast - The Tortoise Podcast.
What’s better than all that though, is the people. The Tortoise has evolved and continues to evolve into a beautiful community space where we hear each other, support each other and learn and grow and experiment with slow living in all its different forms.
I would love to have you join us over at The Tortoise. It’s the only online space I spend any length of time in now, so if you’d like to poke your head in and say hello, I’d love to meet you (or re-meet you!). There’s an entire post here where we’re all introducing ourselves.
Come say hi.
